Hot Lava Software to Release Learning Mobile Author 4.4

This latest version of Hot Lava Software’s authoring toolkit is scheduled to be released on January 10, 2009.

The new LMA4.4 ^TM Release features several new authoring tool enhancement options within the LMA software and MDTS, including:  image as an answer (with audio option) for test, quiz and survey; custom icon for Java files (all Phones) and .exe files (WM/PPC); background images for modules to allow you to pick a wallpaper background style; allow custom working for table of contents (edit word content); survey, test and quiz tables enhanced; auto play audio and video in wap, java and. exe. This toolkit allows rapid creation and deployment of mobile content to multiple devices such as PocketPC, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Nokia, PalmOS, mobile phones, smart phones and the desktop.

Singapore – December 11, 2008.   High interaction and group participation is in the palm of their hands.  Each team is given 3 hours to complete their quest.  All teams have to plan, decide, organize and navigate to prominent landmarks in the WW2 sites to find the answers, seize a token or perform an activity as stipulated in the mobile device to accumulate their points.

On arrival at the site, the GPS Pocket PC would trigger a matching site picture to affirm that they are on the right location.  Participants then choose to read the text, watch a short video-clip, enjoy a sight and sound presentation for the clues or proceed to seize a token, perform an activity or answer all the questions specified.  Answers to the questions could be found on-site or embedded within the mobile device. 

Visitors will be able to embark on a self-guided journey to explore the cause and impact of the Fall of Fortress Singapore in WW2; and to learn valuable historical, leadership and strategic lessons from our traumatic past as part of the larger National Education and Total Defense thrust.
